$3.125 Million Settlement for Florida Turnpike Crash in St. Lucie County
A young father of two young girls and his wife were returning from a family trip when a Company box truck on the Florida Turnpike in St. Lucie County sideswiped their vehicle, pushing them off the roadway. Following the crash, both parents began experiencing neck and back pain. The father eventually underwent neck and back surgeries and had to stop working as a mechanic, resulting from his injuries. The mother also suffered neck and back injuries in the crash – though not as severe as her husband.
The law firm brought an action against the faulty driver and his employer company for negligence and loss of consortium claims for the parents’ two minor children. The case settled for a global settlement of $3,125,000.00 for the family.
