$800,000 Recovered for Nurse in Oakland Park Crash

A middle-aged Operating Room Nurse was involved in a severe crash when a vehicle coming on the other side of a median lost control and jumped the median, crashing head-on into her car. She suffered a 4-part humerus (shoulder) fracture as a result of the crash, requiring extensive shoulder surgery. As a result of her injuries, she had to undergo shoulder surgery and is a candidate for a total shoulder replacement in the future.

Because of her injuries, she cannot return to working in the Operating Room, which was her life’s passion. Instead, she will only be able to handle administrative nursing positions. We filed suit on the case, which was settled for $800,000.00, recovered from multiple carriers, just before trial.
