On January 12, 2008 Diana Santa Maria was installed as Treasurer for the Ft. Lauderdale local chapter of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates; (www.abota.org). The mission of this organization is to elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession.  

Diana Santa Maria was recently recognized and commended by Expressions Magazine - Davie, Florida (Aug. 2007) in recognition of her significant and positive accomplishments within her profession and towards the cause of advancing public safety in her community. By successfully representing persons injured or harmed as a result of unsafe practices in schools, on highways and in major shopping arenas, her efforts on behalf of her clients have helped to enhance safety practices in these forums for others.  view the pdf of the article

Diana Santa Maria appeared in the News and Notes Section of the Florida Bar News (6/1/07) publication for 2 recent speaking engagements at Trial Lawyer Seminars earlier this year. Diana addressed members of the American Justice Association on "Connective Tissue Disorder" in Miami. She also spoke on defense medical exams at the Florida Justice Association's annual Workhorse Seminar in Orlando.
